About the Role:

The Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for developing, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. The role involves close collaboration with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production teams to prioritize work orders and allocate resources appropriately. The Maintenance Planner III also analyzes maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements to maintenance processes and asset management strategies. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall operational excellence by supporting a proactive maintenance culture that enhances productivity and safety.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate with multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Certification in Maintenance Planning or Asset Management (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional - CMRP).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems integration for maintenance planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement projects in maintenance operations.
