Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Support, maintain, and drive improvements in all aspects of MMA maintenance work management systems. Ensure correct prioritization and material planning of work to enable the plant to achieve its EHS, production, and financial objectives.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Promote a safe working environment by advising proper guidelines for the purchase, installation, and safe maintenance of equipment on the plant site. Ensure the safety of personnel by evaluating all jobs daily for the need to perform a Job Safety Analysis prior to work.
  • Lead planning activities in MMA maintenance through coordination with Production Lead, Electrical Planner and Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Planning activities include visually evaluating jobs in the field for scaffold, insulation, and special requirements.
  • Drive reliability improvement efforts in all aspects of asset performance by tracking information related to labor, material utilization, asset life, etc.
  • Write job plans and enter information into CMMS. Job plans shall include step by step instruction, labor utilization, and material required.
  • Contribute positively to cost performance by highlighting potential cost reduction opportunities and purchasing alternatives in the mechanical area.
  • Support job kitting efforts including obtaining proper materials with help from the storeroom leadership.
  • Attend scheduling and backlog meetings with Production Lead to plan the overall MMA maintenance work backlog and coordinate weekly reviews with the production organization.
  • Manage and update preventive maintenance procedures as required.


SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Participate in RCAs as needed.
  • Act as backup department leadership when required.
  • Generate MOCs to increase the safety and efficiency of the processes at Fite Road.


KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
  • High school diploma or GED required, relative trade school/military training and/ or associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Requires knowledge of CMMS and ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical planning, scheduling, and coordination of mechanical maintenance work including corrective preventative and predictive tasks typically found in chemical process plants.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.


The salary range for this position is $118,800- $125,400. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
