Typical responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Oversight, planning, executing and completing various installations, removals, modifications of buildings, hardware, cabinets and infrastructure of Tactical Facilities to support various US Naval Combat Systems. - Technical and management oversight of Plumbers, Welders, Electricians and General Maintenance employees of a Services Contract Act contract. - Directly reporting to the Work Area 1 Engineering and Analysis Chief Engineer on daily matters that support the infrastructure and integration of US Naval Combat Systems for Surface Combat Systems Center Wallops Island, VA. - Drives towards performance objectives as established by our engineering and contract Leadership. - Develops employees and motivates them leveraging BAE Systems tools. Required Skills and Education Trade certificate and 5 years of experience or 10 years of work experience in designing building facilities, landing and removing equipment, and using machinery. Coordinates with building contractors and ensures building safety and adherence to applicable building codes, skills required to perform the oversight and delivery of Tactical Facilities capabilities in support of the Mission. Proven record of leading large teams of skilled craftsmen in multiple tasks safely. Preferred Skills and Education 15 years in designing building facilities, landing and removing equipment, and using machinery. Coordinates with building contractors and ensures building safety and adherence to applicable building codes.
