B27 - $84,182 - $142,374 (yearly)

Essential Duties:- Coordinates and monitors maintenance contracts.
- Develops and monitors 1- and 4-year maintenance budgets.
- Evaluates road conditions.
- Makes recommendations concerning maintenance contracts, service agreements and project procedures.
- Monitors budget and recommends approval of material requisitions
- Prepares specifications for special maintenance contracts.
- Provides technical expertise and coordination for maintenance operations including prioritizing projects, monitoring
correspondence and writing memorandums and reports. - Researches and evaluates data, interprets and analyzes results, prepares reports and recommends solutions to problems.
- Manages the pavement data collection program.
- Trains other employees in various aspects of maintenance programs.
- Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline. Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
- 5 YEARS in transportation maintenance project administration, or related transportation experience. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
- Must have 3 YEARS supervisory/managerial experience. Project leader or lead worker experience may substitute for supervisory/managerial experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid driver's license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:- Subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather but not temperature changes

- Walking-moving on foot to accomplish tasks: long distance/from one work site to another
