Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
Annual Salary Pay: $95,000-$101,000 annually based on experience
Schedule: Day shift
Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintenance and repair of all building and power equipment in a Distribution Center. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of conveyors, schematics, forklifts, high-voltage electrical, motors, hydraulics, and general mechanics. This is a hands-on working position.
Essential Functions
Repair of all equipment, machinery, electrical and power systems, and building systems to insure uninterrupted services and operations.
Recommend and plan maintenance programs and work schedules to minimize equipment “down time.”
Install and repair equipment, and train employees on how to maintain machinery and perform trial run of machinery to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications.
Responsible for managing the maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing and electrical servicing to the facility.
Manage facility layout changes throughout the building, including setting up conveyors, racking, relocating machinery and equipment, etc.
Assures that safety and security measures are established and implemented.
Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.

Skills and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills, Required
Qualifications
H.S. Diploma/GED, Preferred
Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more in Industrial Maintenance, Required
Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more in Previous experience designing, implementing, and managing a preventative maintenance program., Required
Demonstrated technical knowledge of schematics, battery maintenance, HVAC, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, D.C. Controllers, and A. C. Drives powered lift equipment. , Required
Should be familiar with and capable of adhering to Lockout / Tagout procedures. , Preferred
Knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures of equipment , Required
Must be proficient at diagnosing repair needs and troubleshooting electrical circuitry and systems. , Required
Needs to have knowledge of forklift, order picker and reach truck repair, Required
Rapid and Conveyor Knowledge a plus, Preferred
