Maintenance Manager

REMA Tip Top North America is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our Madison, GA manufacturing facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring maximum equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, developing a high-performing maintenance team, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians and Supervisors while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage all preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for production equipment and facility systems.
• Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and emergency repairs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Lead capital improvement projects, equipment installations, facility upgrades, and process improvements.
• Manage the department budget, maintenance inventory, equipment purchases, and outside contractors.
• Utilize MaintainX (CMMS) to manage work orders, preventative maintenance schedules, and equipment history.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve plant performance and equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, ISO standards, and all company safety policies.
• Develop maintenance KPIs and use data to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and increase equipment efficiency.
• Conduct performance reviews, coach employees, identify future leaders, and create development plans for the maintenance team.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree, apprenticeship, or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC troubleshooting, and HVAC systems.
• Experience leading preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience with CMMS software such as MaintainX or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and improve manufacturing performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work throughout a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and additional protective equipment as required.

Schedule

• Full-Time | Monday - Friday
• Overtime and occasional travel as business needs require
