Maintenance Manager

REMA Tip Top North America is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our Madison, GA manufacturing facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring maximum equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, developing a high-performing maintenance team, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians and Supervisors while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage all preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for production equipment and facility systems.
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and emergency repairs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Lead capital improvement projects, equipment installations, facility upgrades, and process improvements.
- Manage the department budget, maintenance inventory, equipment purchases, and outside contractors.
- Utilize MaintainX (CMMS) to manage work orders, preventative maintenance schedules, and equipment history.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve plant performance and equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, ISO standards, and all company safety policies.
- Develop maintenance KPIs and use data to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and increase equipment efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews, coach employees, identify future leaders, and create development plans for the maintenance team.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC troubleshooting, and HVAC systems.
- Experience leading preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience with CMMS software such as MaintainX or equivalent.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and improve manufacturing performance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work throughout a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around industrial equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and additional protective equipment as required.
Schedule
- Full-Time | Monday - Friday
- Overtime and occasional travel as business needs require
