Regal Rexnord is seeking a results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and facilities operations at our 130k sq. ft. manufacturing site in Morehead, KY. The facility supports grinding, machining and assembly operations including lathes, mills, bearing race grinders, powder coating, and passivation processes across multiple shifts. Oversee a Visual Daily Management approach with a department relevant SQDC metrics.


This role is accountable for advancing a robust Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy with a strong focus on closing preventive maintenance gaps, improving equipment reliability, and reducing unplanned downtime. Leveraging Fiix CMMS, data-driven maintenance indicators and Regal Business System (RBS) continuous improvement methodologies, the Maintenance Manager will improve equipment availability to support production uptime while controlling maintenance costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote safety awareness and maintain zero recordable accidents within the maintenance organization.
  • Lead the implementation and execution of TPM, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
  • Develop medium- and long-term strategic planning to achieve TPM (8 pillars) and the systematic improvement of the plant's uptime.
  • Develop a plan to overhaul critical machinery and obsolete spare parts
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability for critical production equipment.
  • Evaluate and optimize preventive maintenance plans using historical equipment data and analytics through Fiix CMMS system.
  • Define and ensure the achievement of annual targets for key reliability performance indicators including Uptime, PM compliance, and Plan Maintenance Percentage (PMP)
  • Maintain performance history and documentation for all production and critical production equipment.
  • Coordinate and manage external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Develop and manage critical spare parts inventory to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Reduce corrective maintenance through improved planning, RCA, and effective execution of PM tasks.
  • Support and maintain 6S standards within all maintenance-controlled areas.
  • Prepare and present monthly equipment performance, maintenance cost, and reliability reports.
  • Manage the maintenance department operating budget and control maintenance-related expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, internal procedures, and regulatory standards affecting safety and quality.
  • Support training and development programs using skills matrices to expand team capability and flexibility.

Preferred Competencies

  • Hands-on understanding of centerless grinding equipment
  • PLC implementation and/or troubleshooting experience
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and root cause analysis capability (5-Why, Fishbone, A3).
  • Effective written and verbal Data-driven decision-making using CMMS, downtime reports, and reliability metrics.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and participation in Kaizen or continuous improvement events.
  • Project management experience supporting equipment upgrades, rebuilds, or retrofits.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent maintenance leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Maintenance and/or reliability leadership
  • Demonstrated experience developing and improving preventive maintenance and TPM systems.

Physical Demand and Work Environment

The work environment is primarily within a manufacturing setting with routine exposure to noise levels above 85 decibels, dust, oil and paint products, and varying temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. Physical demands may include standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
