Full Job Description
Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Oversee overall maintenance operations for production equipment, machinery, and facility/utility systems.
  • Develop and manage maintenance strategies related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Manage preventive maintenance (PM) and repair maintenance programs to ensure stable operation of production equipment and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Lead troubleshooting and technical support for key production equipment, including motors, conveyors, pumps, sensors, PLCs, and automation control systems.
  • Develop preventive maintenance plans, manage schedules, and monitor execution to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Production, QA, Engineering, and Sanitation departments to improve equipment efficiency and productivity.
  • Review drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals, and manage equipment replacement, calibration, and line setup activities.
  • Manage equipment history, work orders, and maintenance data within MES and Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Lead new equipment installation, commissioning, CAPEX projects, and equipment upgrade projects.
  • Manage tool and spare parts inventory systems, including purchasing and cost control.
  • Manage external vendors and contractors, including reviewing and approving service, parts, and equipment quotations.
  • Maintain equipment readiness to minimize impact on production operations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, SQF, HACCP, and other safety and food safety regulations.
  • Manage compliance and training related to safety procedures such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Confined Space Entry.
  • Lead maintenance-related audit responses and documentation management.
  • Oversee emergency response and support related to wastewater treatment facilities and utility systems.
  • Supervise maintenance mechanics and related personnel, including work assignments, training, performance management, and skill development.
  • Drive equipment efficiency improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform other maintenance-related duties based on plant operations and organizational needs.

Qualifications / Skills:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a Supervisor or Manager role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred; experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience managing maintenance operations within food manufacturing or FDA-regulated environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA regulations, and audit response experience preferred.
  • Experience with boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, utility systems, and wastewater treatment systems preferred.
  • Strong maintenance organization and personnel management skills.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, budgeting, and cost management skills.
  • Must be able to travel as required.
  • Must be available for weekends, night shifts, and emergency response situations.
  • Bilingual in Korean is preferred

Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000
