This role requires deep expertise in predictive and reliability-centered maintenance, leveraging data analytics, CMMS/EAM systems, and IIoT technologies to proactively identify and prevent equipment failures. The ideal candidate will drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by optimizing maintenance strategies for robotics, automated production lines, and critical assets, while leading cross-functional initiatives focused on uptime, throughput, and cost efficiency. With a strong foundation in controls, automation, and project management, this leader will champion continuous improvement, standardization, and digital maintenance practices to support a world-class manufacturing operation.

Your Impact

These responsibilities are not all-inclusive; additional duties may be assigned.
  • Drive the seamless operation of facility equipment and infrastructure through effective maintenance strategies and execution
  • Ensure full compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements across all maintenance activities
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt innovative processes, technologies, and best practices to enhance maintenance performance
  • Lead and develop the maintenance team through clear delegation, strong relationships, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Prepare and communicate reports to stakeholders on budgets, timelines, and project progress
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure alignment with operational, safety, and compliance standards
  • Foster a culture of urgency, accountability, organization, and high-quality work across the team
  • Develop and implement predictive maintenance (PdM) programs using condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasonic testing
  • Leverage CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) to track asset performance, failure modes, and maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE)
  • Utilize data analytics and IIoT platforms to enable real-time equipment health monitoring and early fault detection
  • Establish failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies for critical assets
  • Design and deploy sensor-based monitoring systems for automated lines to reduce unplanned downtime
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize maintenance strategies for robotics and automated systems
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis (RCA) and Kaizen events focused on reliability enhancement
  • Develop standard maintenance procedures and digital work instructions for complex automated systems
  • Support implementation of smart maintenance dashboards and predictive algorithms for proactive decision-making

Minimum Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with advanced equipment, including AGVs/AMRs, robotic welding systems, CNC machines, PLC-controlled automated production lines, and material handling systems
  • Broad technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, blueprints, ladder logic diagrams, and OEM technical documentation
  • Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, including IIoT sensors, SCADA systems, MES integration, and digital factory initiatives
  • Working knowledge of PLC programming/troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI systems, VFDs, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet)
  • Experience supporting heavy metal fabrication processes (e.g., stamping, laser cutting, welding, forming, paint systems) and high-volume assembly operations
  • Familiarity with robotics maintenance (FANUC, ABB, KUKA) including teach pendant operations and fault diagnostics
  • Strong understanding of safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO procedures) in automated industrial environments
