MAINTENANCE LEAD:

The Opportunity:

Lead the Maintenance Department so that as a department it maintains machinery and equipment to ensure Safety, OEM quality and operational excellence.

Day Shift M-F 6a-4p overtime and weekends as needed

Or Sat-Tues 4p-4a or Wed-Sat 4p-4a

$44.95/hr

What you need to succeed:

  • Be able to perform all duties of Industrial Maintenance Electro-Mechanic Tech 'A'.
  • Be able to perform most duties of SR Electrical Tech.
  • Lead the Department by carrying Department objectives pertaining to scheduled work, PM's and projects.
  • Provide a high level of communication to Maintenance Manager as well as to other Managers and Supervisors.
  • Oversee projects including contractor interface.
  • JDE training and oversight.
  • Maintain Shop and Parts Room and all Maintenance Department areas to 5S standards.
  • Management of equipment documentation.
  • Oversight and leadership of troubleshooting.
  • Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations contributing to overall safety of the Plant.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED; some college or training in a technical field

A minimum of 7 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Proficient in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Excellent general math skills

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to trouble shoot, schedule and plan maintenance.
