Maintenance Engineering USAF Fighter and Trainer Manager
Position Responsibilities:- Applies technical knowledge of product support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities.
- Manages employees performing activities related to Illustration and Authoring of Technical Manuals.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets Quality goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Required Qualifications:- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior management, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
- Experience leading and organizing deliverables to meet deadlines with minimal direction
- 3+ year of experience in the aerospace industry
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in Parts Management/Tech Data/IPB/ICP/Provisioning/Cataloging/Illustrations
- Experience using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and processes and methods
- Experience with fighter aircraft
