Full Job Description
As our Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of vendor performed activities. You will have access to our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to direct the strategy and execution of vendor work, small projects, and preventive maintenance. The Maintenance Contactor Coordinator and Host will support Facility, Production, Research and Development in the coordination, planning and scheduling of maintenance and vendor performed activities. The Primary Function of the Maintenance Coordinator is to plan, schedule, organize, host and monitor performance of vendor tasks required to ensure that maintenance of equipment meets all customer and regulatory requirements. The Maintenance Coordinator coordinates the activities of vendor services and contractors, to ensure all required scheduled and demand maintenance is performed to support the facility, customer and business needs. Some project assignments will be required. The Maintenance Coordinator complies with safety requirements, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities: 3Schedules resources and personnel to ensure all guidelines and policies are adhered to and provide adequate customer service. Acts as the primary liaison between contractors, vendors, maintenance, and customers. 3Manages contractor/vendor onboarding, safety and training requirements. 3Receives work orders from requesting departments. Make tactical decisions regarding required vendor, response time and level of planning based on priority of requested work. Able to prioritize various jobs among different customers and vendor service providers. 3Identifies and leads projects to improve maintenance productivity and work quality. Responsible for coordinating and monitoring vendor program performance against metrics. 3Makes decisions about work priority levels, scheduling strategies, cost savings, safety, inventory, and vendor with minimal supervision from management. 3Manages stock requirements to ensure adequate supplies for required maintenance. 3Coordinates purchasing requirements (Purchase Order Request, Purchase Orders, and Service Contracts to support budgetary requirements, including processing, review, and monitoring of purchase orders. 3Ensure vendor tasks are performed, documented and reviewed in our CMMS (Maximo) per SOP requirements and job plan tasks. Qualifications 3BS Degree with 2-5 years technical experience and/or technical certification with minimum 8-10 years technical experience 3Two years managerial experience preferred. 3Related Technical Experience, 8-10 years.
