Arconic is currently in search of Maintenance and Reliability Manager to join our Maintenance Operations Team based in our Davenport, IA location.

This position is part of the Leadership Team at Arconic's Davenport Works facility. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing for Davenport Works and Satellites, the role offers a unique opportunity to support the wide range of products, processes, production center, and teams that make Davenport Works a flagship operation.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance and Reliability Manager is to be accountable for long term Productivity and Asset Management of the equipment and infrastructure of Arconic Davenport. These objectives will be achieved while maintaining the Arconic Visions and Values around integrity, inclusion, and diversity, and who demonstrate agility, results commitment, and the capability to grow themselves and others. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Create a Reliability Centered Maintenance base culture that has top to bottom ownership of equipment stability and reliability across the location
  • Develop and Implement Equipment Reliability Standards such as Equipment Maintenance Plans, Criticality Analysis, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, CMMS, and Condition-based Monitoring
  • Develop a culture is data driven and uses key maintenance related KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, Equipment Uptime, PM Compliance, etc. to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead the efforts in performing criticality analysis and determination of risk priority numbers for the site's assets
  • Coordinate the implementation of the reliability-based maintenance strategies
  • Lead the efforts in performing RCM/FMEA on critical assets
  • Perform the RCA's on contributors to yield, utilization and capacity losses (attributed to equipment, processes, etc.)
  • Execute the identification and resolution of chronic failures
  • Create system to understand and optimize asset life-cycle costs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, fostering a safe working environment.


Qualifications

You have: (required)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, maintenance reliability, or engineering technology from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a Maintenance and Reliability leadership role
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business administration, or Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 7 years of maintenance reliability experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with various personnel in a variety of settings (shop floor, peers, plant leadership, etc.)

Davenport Works is the country's largest aluminum rolling mill, it was opened in 1948 and currently employs more than 2,000 people and ships product worldwide. It is in Riverdale in the Quad Cities (Davenport and Bettendorf in southeastern Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline in northwestern Illinois). The Quad Cities is 3 hours south-west of Chicago, 4 hours north of St. Louis, and less than 3 hours from Des Moines. The Quad Cities is home to St. Ambrose University among 8 educational institutes.
