Key Responsibilities:- Act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
- Expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
- Responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Cobol Mainframe is required.
- Advanced proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400 Programming Language is recommended.
- Furthermore, advanced proficiency in Mainframes Modernization on GCP, Restructured Extended Executor REXX, DB2 SQL, and Virtual Storage Access Method VSAM is suggested.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Document findings and solutions to create a knowledge base for future reference.
- Participate in continuous learning and development to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
- Support production.
*This role requires working onsite with the client 3 days per week in NYC, Jersey City or Pennington, NJ*Basic Qualifications:- Minimum 6 years of work experience with advanced proficiency in Cobol Mainframe
- Associate Degree
Preferred Qualifications:- Advanced proficiency in AS 400 COBOL 400 Programming Language is recommended
