Mainframe & COBOL Developer, you will:
We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Development Consultant with expertise in MVS COBOL, JCL, SQL, and DB2. The ideal candidate is preferred to have experience with Sapiens (not required) and possess the ability to transition from COBOL to Java Development.
- Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using MVS COBOL, JCL, SQL, and DB2.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing mainframe applications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Assist in the migration of COBOL applications to Java.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developer
Candidate must have skills:- Proven experience in mainframe development using MVS COBOL, JCL, SQL, and DB2
- Familiarity with Sapiens is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in transitioning from COBOL to Java development is a plus.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:Pay Range*: $119,000 - $ 140,000
Per Year*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
