This position is contingent upon successful contract award.

Prevailance is seeking an expert-level Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Operations / Plans Analyst to provide advanced planning, analysis, and operational integration support to future operations and crisis action planning efforts. This role requires mastery of the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), joint planning methodologies, force management processes, and the ability to lead complex planning teams. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience producing orders, developing planning documentation, and guiding senior-level decision-making within a dynamic operational environment.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Provide expert planning and analysis support to Future Operations across deliberate, crisis, and contingency planning efforts
  • Apply deep knowledge of the MCPP, including its application in joint planning and the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP)
  • Lead Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) and facilitate synchronized planning across multiple staff sections
  • Support crisis action planning activities and assist in transitioning deliberate plans into executable orders
  • Analyze component equities, operational requirements, and force structure considerations to inform future operations planning
  • Independently review and provide input on combatant command and component-level plans, orders, and initiatives up to the TS/SCI classification level
  • Produce FRAGOs, WARNOs, branch plans, and supporting operational documents in coordination with Plans and Current Operations
  • Maintain planning documentation, directives, information papers, and operational products in accordance with records management requirements
  • Participate in planning and future operations battle rhythm events and provide accurate meeting notes, action items, and required deliverables
  • Ensure planning products accurately reflect service capabilities, limitations, and sourcing considerations, particularly within the CENTCOM area of responsibility


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience applying MCPP, joint planning processes (MCPP/MDMP), and leading OPTs
  • Experience with the Joint Staff Global Force Management Process
  • Demonstrated understanding of USMC capabilities and limitations within the CENTCOM AOR
  • Documented experience producing FRAGOs, WARNOs, and planning documentation

Desired Qualifications:
  • Expert-level planning experience in joint and combined operational environments
  • Skilled in transitioning deliberate plans into executable orders
  • Proficient in GFM processes, force structure analysis, and sourcing methodologies
  • Capable of reviewing and contributing to classified planning documents
  • Strong ability to brief and advise senior leaders on complex operational plans

Education:
  • Master's degree (MA/MS)
  • Graduate of JPME II, Staff College, or War College

Clearance:
  • Possesses Top Secret Clearance ( SCI preferred )
  • Secret may be acceptable depending on mission needs
