Machine Safety Engineer III / Lead
Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the Department Supervisor orBranch Manager to perform pivotal functions in a challenging machinesafety-oriented workplace.
- Develop automation and safety projects from conceptto fruition using industry-accepted practices. Use creativity and work with theengineering team to develop concepts into plans.
- Work with the production teamand field team to develop plans into deliverables.
- Develop quality controlprograms to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations.
- Organize and manageproject documentation and provide quotes and scopes of work to customers.Perform on-site risk assessments and safety system validations.
- Work inconjunction with other machine safety personal located in other offices. Learnthe machine safety business and grow the group in the Northeast.
- Assists in improving thequality and efficiently of the safety group.
- Uses general understanding of automation equipment including PLCs, OperatorInterface Systems, or Instrumentation. Applies knowledge of AC/DC fundamentalsto produce electrical circuit design in accordance with NEC and UL508A whenapplicable.
Qualifications:
- Four to seven years related experience and/or training inindustrial safety, or Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university;or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- TUV (CFSE, CMSE, FSE) certification required.
