Open Date 07/24/2026 Close Date Until Filled Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work approved by the Council on Social Work Education. 72 months or more experience as a social worker in the mental health field. 24 months or more supervisory experience. Key Responsibilities • Maintains an organized structure for the Social Work Department and the Central Admissions Office to relay pertinent information in a timely manner. • Collaborates with hospital administration regarding the planning, development and implementation of new social work programs and services. • Monitors efficacy of current policies and procedures for the provision of social work services. • Ensures that a quality assurance program is ongoing in the Social Work Department and the Central Admissions Office. • Conducts monthly audits of social work progress notes and treatment plans to ensure quality, accuracy and regulatory compliance. • Coordinates clinical training and ongoing in-service training for all Social Work Department staff. • Develops and implements the Performance Improvement Plan for the Social Work Department to support continuous quality enhancement. • Assists the Human Resources Department in coordinating recruitment, interviews and recommendations for hiring qualified social work staff. • Maintains and manages documentation of primary source verification of licensure for all social work staff. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) • Knowledge of therapies and casework such as individual, group and family. • Ability to read and comprehend documents such as court orders, policies, and procedures, regulatory standards, assessments, patient medical records, histories, personnel records, and rehabilitation reports. • Ability to make clinical assessments. • Ability to make decisions. • Ability to communicate verbally.
