Full Job Description
About the Role:

As a CBRE M&A Director, you will lead the diligence and integration of complex, high-value transactions end to end. Within the M&A Diligence & Integration function, you will connect due diligence findings to the deal thesis, design the integration approach, and give senior leadership the clarity they need to make sound decisions and realize the value each deal was intended to create. You will work alongside Corporate Development, Finance, Legal, HR, business sponsors, and other stakeholders across the deal lifecycle.

This job is part of the Mergers & Acquisitions function, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A transactions to drive corporate growth.

What You'll Do:
• Lead confirmatory due diligence, integration and separation planning, execution, and performance tracking on complex transactions end to end
• Understand and operationalize the business strategy, ensuring diligence and integration serve the commercial intent of each deal
• Synthesize confirmatory due diligence findings across functional workstreams into leadership-ready assessments of what is material, what requires a decision, and what the tradeoffs are
• Contextualize and frame risks in terms of their impact on the deal thesis, escalating issues and opportunities as appropriate
• Design the integration or separation approach, matched to each transaction's strategic intent, and lead execution of plans that preserve and create value
• Translate commitments made to targets into clear and consistent plans from LOI through close
• Mobilize and lead virtual cross-functional teams, managing to schedule and deliverables and driving urgency on key milestones
• Build effective partnerships across teams, clarifying roles and responsibilities and resolving cross-functional issues and prioritization
• Maintain visibility into whether integrations are delivering the value that was underwritten, facilitating reviews and flagging when off track
• Share best practices from prior transactions across the enterprise and document deal learnings to drive continuous practice improvement
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values

Strategic Working Relationships
• Business leaders and deal sponsors
• Corporate Development team
• Functional leaders across Finance, People, Legal, Tax, IT, and other areas

What You'll Need
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of experience in M&A, strategy, business operations, transaction advisory, management consulting, or a related field. An advanced degree in business or a related field is a benefit. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Proven ability to synthesize cross-functional findings and frame risk and tradeoffs for senior stakeholders - not simply produce or coordinate functional outputs
• Demonstrated success building the case for change and driving complex, multi-stakeholder programs to results
• Strong executive presence and credibility with deal sponsors, Corporate Development, and senior leadership
• Outstanding relationship-building, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear choices
• Able to make decisions within short timeframes and with limited information
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
• Detail-oriented, expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products
