Description:
LPT/LVN Per Diem provider needed for shifts from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
Provider must confirm shifts daily in a timely manner.
The provider must be flexible for two weeks for training on various days and hours.
If an LVN is submitted, please ensure they are fully aware that they are filling an LPT ORDER/ROLE.
They will handle the following responsibilities, as well as anything within their scope of duties and licensure:
Administer medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, disease prevention, and restorative measures.
Assess and record symptoms.
Administer CPR, first aid, and other functions within the scope of licensed practice.
Refer patients to physicians for consultation as appropriate.
Understand and carry out orders.
Dress wounds, provide treatments, and give injections.
Collaborate with all healthcare providers.
Document and maintain accurate detailed reports and care in the medical record.
Provide patient teaching and/or discharge instructions for continuity of care.
Obtain a refusal form from the patient.
Observe and report the conduct of patients to prevent self-injurious behavior.
Inspect, observe, lock, and secure clinical areas and medical materials.
Observe and report contraband, such as weapons or illegal drugs.
Maintain sufficient strength, agility, and endurance to perform during stressful situations without compromising health and well-being.
Remain alert and focused to effectively evaluate and respond to emergency situations.
Move about the institution, occasionally to continuously, covering long distances indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
