About the RoleAs a Lubrication Engineer, you'll be a key player in expanding our presence across the Mountain West territory. You'll work directly with customers to identify needs, offer technical solutions, and build strong, lasting partnerships. With your expertise, you'll help grow our market share while ensuring the highest level of service and support for our distributors.
What You'll Do- Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to expand our presence in key industries, meeting growth targets and increasing market share.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and OEM partners, becoming a trusted technical advisor.
- Identify Opportunities: Use technical solution selling to uncover new business opportunities and close deals that align with customer needs.
- Collaborate for Success: Work with the Western Regional Manager to create and execute a dynamic sales strategy while supporting distributor training and development.
- Monitor and Improve: Track performance, analyze trends, and implement action plans to sustain high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Travel: Estimated 50% travel to visit clients and attend industry events across your territory. The ideal candidate will reside in Denver or Salt Lake City; other locations within the territory considered for exceptional candidates.
What You'll Bring- Sales Expertise: 4-7 years of experience in sales, with a proven ability to meet and exceed revenue goals through direct and distribution sales.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technical selling and solution-oriented sales processes. Experience in specialty lubricants or food industries is a plus, but not required.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess data trends, develop insights, and apply strategies for continuous improvement.
- Communication & Presentation: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and engage clients and distributors effectively.Tools
