Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
  • One year of experience in a medical office, urgent care center, or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is highly desirable.
  • A valid LPN License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • BLS and ACLS certification are required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or provide an exemption certifying choice against vaccination.

Responsibilities

  • Perform direct patient care under the supervision of an Urgent Care Provider.
  • Conduct phlebotomy, EKG, IV access, and administer IV fluids and medications as per physician orders.
  • Provide comprehensive clerical support including patient registration and data entry.
  • Carry out minor transcription of orders and coordinate medical records management.
  • Conduct point of care lab testing in compliance with CLIA certification standards.
  • Assist with transporting patients and other assigned clerical duties.
  • Participate in weekend and holiday shifts as part of the role.

Overview

We are searching for a talented LPN - Urgent Care Center

 

*$5,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*

 

Hours: 40hrs  

Shift: Day/Evening shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 8:30pm, Saturday/Sunday 9:00am - 5:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation   

Location: Urgent Care - Wareham, MA

  

ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision of Urgent Care Provider, perform direct patient care including, phlebotomy, EKG, IV access, IV fluid and medication administration in accordance with physicians' orders. Provides work to full scope of practice as determined by the public health department and Southcoast Health policies. Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support including but not limited to patient quick registration, data/order entry, minor transcription of orders, coordination of medical records, transport and other clerical duties as assigned. Performs point of care lab testing in accordance with CLIA certificate. Qualifications

  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

 

 

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay RangeUSD $31.98 - USD $48.31 /Hr. Rotation Schedule Requirement Every other weekend, every other holiday
