Full Job Description
LPN Inservice Coordinator
Rate: $39/hour
Shift: Full-Time
Schedule: Days

Roscoe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking to add an LPN Inservice Coordinator to its team. In this role, you'll support the education, training, and development of nursing staff and CNA trainees while helping ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality care standards. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and assist with CNA training, orientation, and competency evaluations
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and educational support to nursing assistants and nursing staff
  • Conduct skills validations, audits, and follow-up evaluations to support staff development
  • Maintain training records, competency documentation, and educational materials
  • Assist with nurse and CNA onboarding, orientation, and ongoing education programs
  • Conduct rounds to provide coaching and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, surveys, and staff education activities
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to address training needs and performance concerns
  • Support QAPI initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required
  • Minimum 2 years of LPN experience in a long-term care setting; 3-5 years preferred
  • Strong teaching, coaching, mentoring, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of CNA training requirements, infection control practices, and long-term care regulations
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time management abilities
  • Ability to support staff development and foster a positive learning environment
