Full Job Description
This is a full-time, onsite position supporting one of the world's leading R&D equipment manufacturers in San Jose, CA. This role requires travel to customer locations throughout California as project needs require.

How You'll Shape Our SuccessAs a Low Voltage Electrical Installer, you'll work onsite with a leading global R&D equipment manufacturer, installing gas detection systems, life safety controls, and low-voltage electrical systems that help keep people, facilities, and operations safe.

From new installations to system upgrades, you'll deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, technical environment where your craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to safety make a real impact every day.
What You'll Take Ownership Of
  • System Installation - Install gas detection systems, sensors, transmitters, duct mounts, PLC panels, battery backup systems, pull stations, horn/strobes, photohelic pressure switches, and other life safety devices.
  • Electrical Installation - Perform conduit installation, pipe bending, wire pulling, termination, and pre-wire electrical systems for new installations.
  • Control Wiring - Pull, terminate, and test CAT6 and multi-conductor control wiring while ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
  • Panel Work - Install and work within PLC control panels while following established electrical safety practices.
  • Documentation & Quality - Maintain accurate work records, follow installation manuals, and ensure all work meets customer specifications and applicable codes.
  • Safety & Compliance - Adhere to company safety standards, legal regulations, and customer site requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Team Collaboration - Work closely with project managers, technicians, and customer personnel to successfully complete installations on schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Earn $45.00-$55.00 per hour, based on experience.

What You'll Bring
