Lockheed Martin Skunk Works and its ISR & UAS line-of-business, seeks a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Early Career Survivability Engineer candidate to join the Signature Management & Survivability Team. Specifically, we seek to identify a candidate with expertise or willingness to learn one of the following disciplines: - Aircraft stealth signature reduction and low observables (LO) phenomenology - Radar cross section (RCS) susceptibility - Electromagnetics (EM), computational electromagnetics (CEM) - LO project/program management Typical responsibilities may include: - Responsible for performing, analyzing, and communicating vehicle signature predictions using Unix-based codes and tools. - Engagement in the research, design, computational electromagnetic modeling, fabricating, and testing of advanced electromagnetic metamaterials. - Responsible for planning, performing, post-processing, and communicating the results oflaboratory, field, flight, and vehicle signature measurements. - Writing and using scripts to batch analysis and post-processing. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of working in a lab environment and hands on build experience. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895.
