Your Role
As Logistics Supervisor, you'll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. Your scope includes:
- Directing and coordinating all shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, and material handling activities.
- Partnering daily with the Corrugator, Converting, Scheduling, and Customer Service departments to ensure production priorities are aligned with shipping schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Maintaining accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving records using the company's ERP/WMS systems.
- Working collaboratively with Production and Maintenance to eliminate bottlenecks and improve workflow.
- Provide daily supervision, coaching, and direction to hourly employees represented by Unifor Local 539.
- Participate in investigations, progressive discipline, grievance meetings, and labour relations discussions in partnership with Human Resources.
What you bring
You're a natural fit for Logistics Supervisor if you have:
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum five years of logistics, warehouse, or shipping experience within a manufacturing environment, and a minimum three years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience supervising employees in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Experience in corrugated packaging, paper products, or industrial manufacturing is considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and ERP software. Experience with SAP and Ryder 4PL preferred.
- Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
