The Logistics Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across quality systems, audits, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role drives compliance with global standards, leads risk management activities, strengthens supplier partnerships, and provides data-driven insights to support strategic decisions. The position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels and with external stakeholders.
What will you do:
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, audit protocols, SOPs, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits, support ISO compliance initiatives, and drive continuous adherence to quality standards across logistics operations.
• Analyze logistics and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities, reduce waste, mitigate risk, and enhance overall quality performance.
• Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, 8D, A3, and Kaizen, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop and maintain PFMEA documentation, control plans, work instructions, and risk mitigation strategies to support operational excellence.
• Partner with operations, engineering, procurement, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and achieve business objectives.
• Manage supplier quality performance, including corrective action follow-up, performance reviews, and initiatives to improve incoming quality and reduce defects.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data and key performance metrics; develop dashboards, reports, and digital tools that provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and process assessments to ensure products, services, and processes consistently meet established quality standards.
• Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring results, sustaining gains, coaching stakeholders on quality processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

What will make you successful:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a Logistics Operations/Quality role
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in quality engineering (QMS systems), risk assessments, compliance and audits (ISO) and supplier quality processes. .
• Experience quality control tools/methods, such as PFMEA, SPC etc.
• SAP, BFO and Manhattan knowledge is desirable
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting platforms (Power BI, Excel, etc.).
For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
