Full Job Description
The Logistics Process Quality Engineer is a high-impact role focused on protecting customers, strengthening distribution processes, and building a strong quality culture across the operation.

This position combines hands-on quality expertise with the leadership and development of Quality Auditors. The successful candidate will investigate customer and operational issues, lead structured problem-solving, strengthen process controls, and drive measurable improvements across inbound, inventory, picking, packing, rework, value-added services, and outbound operations.

What will you do?
• Ensure product and process quality across inbound receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, rework, value-added services, and outbound shipping by controlling risks that could affect customers.
• Lead and develop Quality Auditors across shifts by assigning risk-based audits and inspections, reviewing evidence, coaching performance, and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues using warehouse transactions, photographs, audit records, process observations, and other objective evidence to identify process and control failures.
• Lead structured problem-solving and continuous improvement using PRB/8D, KATA, XA, CAPA, DMAIC, A3, 5 Whys, and Lean Six Sigma methods.
• Define and manage corrective actions with clear owners, deadlines, evidence requirements, effectiveness checks, and recovery plans for overdue commitments.
• Plan and conduct layered process audits, put away audits, random pallet audits, packaging and stacking inspections, and finished-order audits while verifying customer-specific requirements.
• Control nonconforming material and blocked stock through proper identification, segregation, containment, ownership, plant follow-up, disposition, escalation, and timely closure.
• Develop and maintain PFMEAs, control plans, procedures, work instructions, quality alerts, training materials, dashboards, metrics, and Quality Management System records.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations on quality performance, customer issues, audit findings, risks, projects, initiatives, results, and recommended actions.
• Build strong partnerships with site operations, manufacturing plants, central and Global Quality teams, suppliers, transportation carriers, sister distribution centers, and leadership to resolve issues and drive actions through verified closure.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in logistics quality, manufacturing quality, warehouse operations, quality engineering, or process improvement.
• 2+ years of experience leading Quality Auditors, inspectors, technicians, or operational employees preferred.
• Experience conducting process audits, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and verifying effectiveness.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, control plans, standard work, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience using SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, BFO, Power BI, or comparable systems for quality investigations, data analysis, traceability, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate operational data into practical actions.
• Strong coaching, teamwork, interpersonal, and influencing capabilities.
• A proactive, organized, customer-focused, and solution-oriented approach with strong ownership and follow-through.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and public-speaking skills.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
