Inside the Role

Provide support for maintaining material retrieval equipment including software systems throughout the plant. This position will investigate system issues, determine root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with corporate support teams. The role is responsible for integrating new materials and processes into logistics systems while supporting packaging optimization, kitting, sequencing, material flow improvements, and warehouse layout development. The position will lead logistics improvement projects, support automation and digital initiatives, develop KPI dashboards, and coordinate cross-functional implementation activities to improve operational performance and material flow throughout the facility.

Position offers a starting salary range of$86,000 - $110,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Provide support for monitoring andmaintaininglogisticssystems for material flow (Manhattan Warehouse management system, Dematic, EMS, EDI system, Etc.)

  • Monitor,maintainand create equipment/software alerts for uptime,efficiencyand software communication.

  • Facilitate configuration changes and improvements for various warehouse management systems currently used in the facility (shuttle/retrieval systems).

  • Develop and improve packaging and material flow processes including Kanban, Repack, kitting, sequencing,stockingand line delivery.

  • Develop andoptimizematerial flow, storage,kittingand workstation layouts.

  • Leadlogisticsimprovement projects involving equipment, automation, digitalsolutionsand third-party providers.

  • Coordinate implementation of projects with Corporate ME, Operations, IT, Maintenance,Facilitiesand Contractors.

  • Perform time studies,capacityandmanpoweranalysis toidentifyand implement process improvement opportunities.

  • Develop dashboards and data analysis tools tomonitorlogisticsKPIs and support operational decision-making.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor27s degree in technical discipline, preferably within field of Materials Engineering or related technical Engineering field

  • 2-4 years experience in manufacturing operations/ engineering/ logistics

  • Familiar with basic mechanical, electrical, industrial and software engineering principles to optimize project success

  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective presentation skills and able to create PowerPoint, project schedules

  • Familiarity with materials Flow and process development

  • Experience with Warehouse management software

  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle small and large projects with a diversity of customers

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, root-causeanalysisand material flow principles.

  • Proficiently using SQL and Power BI for data analysis, KPImonitoringand dashboard development.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Project management experience preferred

  • Knowledge of Manhattan Warehouse management system, Dematic software, pick to light software and other logistic flow systems

  • Experience in automated storage and retrieval systems

  • Participation in process development and qualification in materials warehouse systems in a production manufacturing environment
