Job DescriptionDescription SAIC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Senior Logistician to support the Program Office for the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE)-PMA-251, with a primary focus on the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program supporting the French Aircraft Carrier program. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of integrated logistics support (ILS), program management, defense acquisition processes, and FMS operations.
The logistician will work closely with NAVAIR, OEM and French DGA (Direction Générale de l'Armement) stakeholders to ensure configuration align with and customer requirements.
Location: Program Office is out of Pax River. Willingness to have a remote candidate. Travel would be to Pax River, Lakehurst NJ, Newport News, France.
Qualifications Requirements: - Candidate should have 15+ years experience supporting NAVAIR FMS programs as a Logistician; BA and 11 years of experience may be considered.
- Must have prior experience working FMS Logistics with NAVAIR or DoD.
- This position requires exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to successfully lead logistical efforts for cutting-edge systems critical to the French Navy's aircraft carrier capabilities to include sustainment of Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) mechanical and hydraulic systems, as well as related shipboard interfaces, components, and support structures.
- An active Secret clearance is required
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
