Full Job Description
GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Logistics Manager. Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX. Located west of Fort Worth, it is an easy commute from surrounding communities of Weatherford, Stephenville, Mineral Wells and Aledo.

KEY ACCOUNTBILITIES:

  • Communicates Logistics & Inventory expectations to supervision; plans, monitors, and appraises job results; coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees; initiates, coordinates, and enforces systems, and policies/procedures to ensure compliance and regulatory guidelines are met.
    Develops, recommends, and implements changes to existing logistics procedures to ensure continual improvement in the areas of cost, cycle time, service, and quality.
  • Collaborates with site, regional, and project leadership, including supply chain operations and manufacturing management, to develop or revise plans, policies, and procedures for logistics support in area of responsibility.
  • Pursues optimal performance from resources with consideration of time, cost, and customer objectives.
  • Guides performance of timely data entry & recording into ERP system of all material moves in accordance with procedures to ensure the ERP system is updated.
  • Provides direction to staff associated with physically performing inventory counts, recording, and reporting data results, assisting with research and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
  • Supports all internal & external audits related to Logistics & Inventory.
  • Leads the practices of safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations/


QUALIFICAITONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of work experience in logistics and distribution.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management environment.
  • Extensive applicable regulatory & compliance knowledge to include DOT, ATF, and FAA.
  • 6+ years of experience supervising teams in logistics and inventory manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge related to shipping hazardous materials and inventory control.
  • Proven results dealing with internal and external customer requirements.
  • Basic to Intermediate computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams to meet or exceed project expectations.
  • Ability to interface with personnel across all levels of the business.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role:

  • Bending, lifting, stooping, pushing, pulling
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Repetitive motion - Hands/wrist/shoulder

  • Ability to lift up-to 30 pounds (over 30 pounds requires a team lift).
