Description

We're seeking a driven and highly organized Logistics Manager to lead logistics functions across SPL's Environmental Services operations nationwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic operations professional who enjoys solving logistics challenges, optimizing transportation and routing operations, and supporting fast-paced field and laboratory environments. The ideal candidate is analytical, solutions-oriented, and motivated by improving operational efficiency, service quality, and continuous improvement within a collaborative and growing organization.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and manage routing schedules for environmental field services and sample collection activities
  • Optimize transportation routes, scheduling, and logistics operations to support efficiency and turnaround objectives
  • Coordinate sample transportation in compliance with chain-of-custody and sample handling requirements
  • Monitor logistics operations and adjust schedules, routing priorities, and resource allocation as operational needs change
  • Collaborate with laboratory and operations teams to support workflow efficiency and timely sample delivery
  • Maintain routing and logistics tracking systems to support reporting and operational performance monitoring
  • Analyze logistics metrics and operational data to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and operational performance metrics
  • Support quality assurance activities, audits, investigations, and corrective action initiatives as needed
  • Provide operational guidance, training, and coordination support regarding logistics procedures, documentation, and compliance standards
  • Assist with resolving issues related to transportation, routing, logistics coordination, and sample handling activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation coordination, or related operations roles, preferably in field services, environmental services, or laboratory environments
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing transportation routes, logistics workflows, and operational scheduling across large or multi-site service areas
  • Familiarity with chain-of-custody procedures and sample handling requirements preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with routing software, logistics management systems, dashboards, or business intelligence tools preferred


Work Schedule & Travel
  • Full-time, hybrid position following Monday - Friday schedule
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed to support operational demands
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to various sites across Texas and to our Reading, PA location as needed
