Overview
Responsibilities
Develops logistic program operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
Develops project site layout design, product flow, and product handling systems, evaluating, and recommending new equipment.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Secures property by developing protection and access policies and procedures, coordinating patrols with security department.
Actively maintains detailed inventory log of equipment and material contained on project site.
Coordinates with multiple vendors (including manufacturers and distributors) to arrange deliveries on a consistent schedule
Establishes consistent delivery schedule with a 3 week look ahead (both for material that is needed on project).
Performs quality checks of all material that enters and exits the project site
Coordinate with QC and production to ensure identification, segregation and proper disposition of non-conforming material (RMA, RTV, Purges, Holds etc.)
Implement MCD and Contractual obligations towards management of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE)
Attends weekly project team meeting with various project teams to understand the needs of the job sites
Coordinates and communicates with all project superintendents, project managers, and project engineers who have material stored in warehouse
Coordinated closely with personnel located at MMEP to ensure that material is transferred (with documentation) to MMEP
Document, implement and maintain controls applicable to ISO9001, ISO27001, CMMI, and UL standards.
Maintains secure storage of certain material to meet client material security requirements
Understand project job requirements and be able to compare material received against specific project requirements.
