The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Logistics Management Specialist, NH-0346-03 to work at Air Force Sustainment Center in the 448th Supply Chain Management Wing on Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia. 2026 Salary Range: $89,508-$138,370 Yearly (Includes locality pay)

Who May Apply: This position is open to current 448 Supply Chain Management (SCMW) employees only.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the senior logistics management specialist in support of strategic sustainment acquisition phases of assigned systems, programs, or major equipment. To lead the members and stakeholders in the implementation of the sourcing strategy utilizing the eight-step strategic sourcing process and continuous process improvements to streamline contractual efforts. Conduct analyses on past, current and future performance and spend data to select the best overall strategy for portfolio. Understand key 12 Product Support Elements, the differences between supply ad services contracts, Title 10 depot maintenance, depot maintenance partnering, performance based logistics, and impacts to small business participation to name a few. Develop recommendations for the acquisition strategies for the squadron to achieve overall Wing/group goals and objectives.

Requirements:

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

2. Obtain & maintain a Security clearance (if applicable).

3. No PCS expenses will be paid.

4. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty.

5. May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours.

Recruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.

2. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.

3. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.

4. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.

5. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
