Summary

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Mission Support Command, Assistant Chief of Staff, G4, Intelligence Materiel Activity, Distribution Division in For Belvoir, VA.

  • Plan, develop, and direct the integration of functional area logistics support for SIGINT/EW systems.
  • Plan and integrate logistics support for Dept of Army and National Security Agency.
  • Provide worldwide supply support guidance and assistance to INSCOM units.
  • Develop INSCOM position on Special Access Programs (SAP), Intelligence Operations Books, and other supply support issues.
  • Analyze requests for and implementation of standard and nonstandard logistics support to SAPs.
  • Analyze data, trends, and patterns to anticipate critical requirements.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 25% or less of the time.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify, your resume must demonstrate that you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: At least one year experience utilizing Defense & Army financial management system(s) AND managing contracts.
