The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a logistics management specialist in support of sustainment phases of assigned systems, programs, or major equipment.

Mission Statement: Provides integrated supply chain management sustainment support to C-130 aircraft serving Air Force, Navy, Special Operations and FMS Customers. The flight is committed to providing timely, efficient and effective C-130 parts support to the C-130 fleet and warfighters that it serves throughout the world.

Requirements:

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

2. Obtain & maintain a Security clearance (if applicable).

3. No PCS expenses will be paid.

4. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty.

5. May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours.

Recruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.

2. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.

3. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.

4. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.

5. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
