Qualifications/Requirements:

The F-35 Lightning-II Joint Program Office (JPO) is seeking an energetic, talented senior logistician to serve as a Maintenance and Depot Execution Branch Chief. This Logistics Management Specialist (NH-0346-04) supervisory position resides at our Hill AFB operating location, aligned under the Director, Sustainment/Product Support Manager. This Maintenance and Depot Execution Branch Lead position reports to the Chief, Depot Capability Integration (DCI) within the directorate and leads a team of program managers and logistics management specialists that support steady-state sustainment of aircraft depot flow plan and component execution at various CONUS and OCONUS sites. The incumbent will establish a relationship with the services, partner nations, FMS country teams, and industry partners specifically communicating and coordinating broad interests pertaining to national and industrial depot requirements. The incumbent will apply an understanding of participant country basing and integration requirements and concept of operations to optimize F-35 depot compatibility and logistics supportability across the depot spectrum. Incumbent will specifically oversee service and partner subject matter experts responsible for execution of the AFSC Art of the Possible goal across the enterprise, including effectively leading, influencing, and executing continuous process improvements.

The F-35 JPO leads fielding and sustainment of 5th-generation fighter aircraft to the USAF, USN, USMC, 7 integrated international program partners, and 12 Foreign Military Sales customers. The F-35's global maintenance and repair capability is an essential enabler in sustaining the system readiness on which the US, our program Partners, and our FMS customer nations depend. Significant Facts:

Full time telework or remote telework is not authorized for this position.

Situational telework will be authorized on case-by-case basis according to organizational internal policies.

Candidate must have 52 weeks in lower grade to be considered for the position.

Candidate may be considered for more than one position.

Candidate is required to complete 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLP) every 24 months.

Position may be subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) away from home station (up to 25%).

Candidate may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall to meet mission requirements.

PCS expenses if authorized will be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations.

Position requires that the candidate must be able to obtain Advanced APDP Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months.

Candidate may be subject to a Drug Test.

Ability to gain/maintain Secret clearance is required.

For this opportunity, we are seeking a logistician with the following expertise/attributes:

Experience as an Aircraft or Component Depot Maintenance manager; as a Squadron Director for an ALC AMXG or CMXG; and as an ALC Software Configuration Manager.

Experience with Applied Lean Principles, Six Sigma, and Art of Possible (AoP) methodologies to drive continuous depot-level process improvement.

Experience with depot-level quality control, enforcing strict adherence to technical data, maintenance procedures, and supply discipline for all assigned technicians.
