Summary

You will serve as a Assistant Program Manager Logistics (APML) in the NAWCAD SE & ALRE GRP (Lakehurst), ALRE Dept, Information Systems Division (BL13000) of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Duties

Help

  • You will serve as the NAVAIR spokesperson and advocate on logistics program matters for ALRE Launcher and Info Systems.
  • You will provide cost supporting data and develop tailored application of the elements of life cycle costing based on authoritative knowledge of the unique characteristics of assigned system(s).
  • You will review the attainment of program objectives to identify and correct deficiencies in established integrated logistic support programs.
  • You will recommend changes to NAVAIR integrated logistic support management policies and procedures and initiate action to effectively incorporate approved changes into existing worldwide integrated logistics support programs.
  • You will develop ILS planning and supportability requirements for program documentation and manage the development and preparation of logistics sections of these documents.

  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DS-05/ GS 12-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Providing overall leadership of the management of ALRE acquisition and life-cycle logistics/maintenance management activities; 2) Managing and directing the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life-cycle product support to assigned ALRE systems; 3) Developing ILS planning and supportability requirements for program documentation and managing the development and preparation of logistics sections of program documents; 4) Providing cost supporting data and developing tailored application of the elements of life-cycle costing based on authoritative knowledge of the unique characteristics of assigned systems; 5) Planning the strategy or implementation of logistics management operations, coordinating with key stakeholders, to ensure timely logistics support; 6) Reviewing, evaluating and directing changes to achieve Logistics' consistency with program parameters or higher-level logistics support policies.
