Job Summary

The Logistics Management Specialist, Aerial Target Systems, provides lifecycle logistics support for aerial target and associated support systems supporting government test, evaluation, and operational missions. This position plans, develops, and executes Integrated Logistics Support activities related to sustainment, provisioning, inventory management, transportation, maintenance coordination, and mission readiness. The role serves as a key liaison between government organizations, contractors, program offices, and operational customers to ensure mission requirements are executed efficiently and on schedule. The position supports acquisition, sustainment, and logistics planning activities while ensuring accountability of government property, repair parts, and munitions. Success in this role requires effective coordination across multiple organizations, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environment. This position directly contributes to the readiness and operational effectiveness of aerial target programs supporting worldwide customer requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Manage the complete logistics lifecycle for assigned aerial target systems, including receipt, accountability, movement, sustainment, and disposition of equipment, repair parts, and support assets.

· Plan and develop Integrated Logistics Support requirements supporting operational readiness, maintenance planning, provisioning, and sustainment objectives.

· Provide logistics, acquisition, and operational data to support procurement actions, inventory planning, and resource allocation decisions.

· Monitor provisioning records, technical publications, and logistics documentation to ensure continued supportability of assigned systems.

· Review and process supply, ammunition, and logistics documentation to maintain accountability and compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.

· Coordinate transportation and movement of target systems, repair parts, munitions, and related assets to ensure timely mission execution.

· Serve as liaison between operational customers, program offices, contractors, test range organizations, and government agencies to resolve logistics and operational issues.

· Coordinate operations and maintenance activities supporting aerial target missions, mission planning efforts, and field support operations across multiple locations.

· Prepare reports, briefings, correspondence, and recommendations impacting operational and logistics support activities for target systems worldwide.

· Other duties as assigned in support of mission and business requirements.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field and 10 years of relevant experience.

· Experience supporting logistics operations, sustainment activities, or Integrated Logistics Support programs.

· Experience managing inventory, repair parts, supply accountability, or provisioning activities.

· Experience coordinating with government organizations, contractors, or program management offices.

· Eligibility to obtain Ammo-62 qualification within one year of hire.

· U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience supporting aerial target systems, unmanned systems, aviation platforms, missile systems, or test range operations.

· Ammo-62 qualification.

· Experience supporting Department of War logistics, aviation logistics, or weapons system sustainment programs.

· Experience with ammunition accountability and related documentation processes.

· Experience supporting mission planning and operational readiness activities.

· Knowledge of government acquisition and logistics support requirements.
