Full Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Engineering Manager to lead logistics engineering staff and oversee support-ability activities throughout the design process. This role is responsible for ensuring all support requirements are properly identified, evaluated, and met. As a first-level manager within the job family, the position also provides leadership, guidance, and development for assigned personnel while supporting overall team performance.

As Logistics Engineering Manager your duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage and supervise logistics engineering staff directly.
  • Oversee all activities associated with support-ability considerations during the design process.
  • Evaluate and ensure that all logistics and support requirements have been satisfied.
  • Lead the employment, training, motivation, and discipline of assigned employees.
  • Provide day-to-day direction and performance oversight for assigned staff.
  • Manage exempt employees directly.
  • May manage nonexempt employees either directly or through supervisors or leads.
  • Serve as a first-level manager within the logistics engineering function.


Required Qualifications
  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an applicable engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years logistics engineering experience, including supervision/management experience.
  • Prior supervision or management experience required.
  • Active Secret Clarence.
