Logistics Director
We are seeking a visionary Logistics Director to lead our third-party logistics operations with a relentless focus on data-driven excellence and strategic leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute high-impact supply chain strategies that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels across the end-to-end logistics network.
- Lead data analytics initiatives to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve logistics performance using KPIs, dashboards, and advanced analytics tools to drive actionable insights and measurable cost savings.
- Provide strong strategic leadership to logistics teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance while mentoring and developing talent.
- Negotiate and manage critical vendor and carrier contracts with a sharp focus on cost optimization, service reliability, and long-term value creation.
- Oversee inventory management and warehouse operations, leveraging data analytics to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Analyze transportation spend, delivery performance, and network efficiency to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process excellence.
- Champion the development and implementation of logistics policies, procedures, and innovative solutions that align with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytics expertise - proven ability to use data, metrics, and business intelligence tools to drive strategic decisions and operational improvements.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Deep knowledge of logistics systems, transportation management, inventory optimization, and current industry regulations.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable working independently while thriving in collaborative, dynamic, and results-oriented settings.

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000, DOE; plus, potential for bonus
