Full Job Description
The Position

Coordinate & optimize the flow of raw materials & critical components for manufacturing from ordering through release. Oversee quality & compliance of Warehouse & Logistics processes / procedures. Oversee necessary investigations to optimize / make operations more reliable, propose & monitor action plans if necessary. Monitor the updating of standards & consequent procedures in accordance with the NN systems (Quality Management System). Depending on assignment, serve as key member of Warehouse either with the Shipping & Receiving or Material Support leadership team providing operations.

Relationships

Reports to Manager, Warehouse & Logistics.

Essential Functions
  • Build a program strategy in collaboration with management to define keep activities on improvement projects. This includes:
    • Collect data & analyze compliance risks
    • Analyze flow of materials from supplier thru release to production & identify improvement opportunities
    • Identify key activities or improvement projects & propose the associated deadlines, including the pre-requisites & interfaces with other projects or programs
    • Identify anomalies as they arise & lead continuous improvement projects. Drive SPS through to corrective actions
    • Collaborate with stakeholders (including, but not limited to AP, FP, IQC, & QAPS), as required
  • Serve as Warehouse representative in process groups & identifying process signals:
    • Propose risk mitigation actions & communicate throughout the improvement process to different levels of the organization
    • Responsible for investigation & solution of quality problems in warehouse deviations, Unscheduled Events, Change Requests, Temperature Deviations, etc.
    • Ensure compliance with training programs (ISOtrain/Eduneering) TROLs / JIs & confirm process
    • Conduct assignments in compliance with cGMP's, approved SOP's, & company policies & procedures, including PSPS requirements
  • Assist the Management in:
    • Board representation
    • Serve as liaison to Supply Chain stakeholders, as assigned or necessary
    • Other accountabilities, as assigned


Physical Requirements

May move equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. May be required to be on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May required corrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. May require the ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protections.

Qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics, purchasing or related field - preferably in pharmaceutical industry required
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills; good presentation skills preferred
  • Computer skills including experience with Office & electronic material management systems (SAP) preferred
  • Demonstrated vendor & stakeholder negotiation skills required
  • Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning methodologies & is ability to use multiple methods to train & coach others preferred
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly in writing & presentations preferred
  • Experience planning, organizing, managing execution, checking results, & revising work plans preferred
