Full Job Description

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
  • Develop and standardize a robust methodology for calculating logistics capacity across all manufacturing sites.
  • Work closely with local teams to validate, standardize, and roll out this methodology across the network.
  • Analyze the theoretical and actual capacity of each site, identifying discrepancies, constraints, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Anticipate future capacity needs based on volume projections, and make strategic recommendations (investments, resource adjustments, etc.).
  • Implement, maintain, and refine a capacity management dashboard to ensure dynamic and reliable monitoring in response to fluctuations in activity.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and regular updating of capacity data to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the definition of the medium- and long-term logistics strategy.
  • Design and model logistics solutions (sizing, layouts, internal and external material flows, equipment requirements).
  • Develop tools and processes to optimize logistics costs.
  • Work in collaboration with our various plants worldwide as well as with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct performance analyses and profitability studies (business cases, ROI).


YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
  • A bachelor's degree or diploma of college studies (DCS) in mechanical or industrial engineering, business administration, and/or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Bilingual fluency in French and English (written and spoken) required.
  • Knowledge of Spanish would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of transportation, internal logistics, and product distribution to customers.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, AutoCAD, and CATIA would be an asset.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of open-mindedness.
  • An analytical mindset and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and technical communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset and results-oriented approach.
  • The ability to travel outside Canada (2-4 times per year).
