Loan Officer Assistant - Senior Mortgage Operations Partner Must have an active NMLS MLO license - required at time of hire. If currently inactive - please confirm ability to reinstate. Preferred LOA/LP2/LO or similar experience in the most recent 24 months. At minimum, related role in Mortgage in the most recent 36months. Flexibility for the right candidate As a Senior Mortgage Operations Partner (LP2), you'll play a vital role in our top-producing team, supporting mortgage loan origination officers with your unique blend of sales expertise and exceptional customer service. You'll manage loan files from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships will be key to helping us grow our business. Responsibilities Pipeline Management • Own the active and upcoming pipeline end-to-end • Track all loan milestones, conditions, and critical deadlines proactively and without prompting • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline report and lead regular pipeline review conversations File Expertise - The Four C's • Credit: Analyze credit reports, identify issues early, and advise on rapid rescore opportunities • Cash: Verify assets with attention to sourcing, seasoning, and full documentation requirements • Capacity: Calculate qualifying income accurately across all borrower types - W-2, self-employed, 1099, and rental • Collateral: Understand property types, LTV guidelines, and appraisal requirements across loan programs Pre-Qualification and Pre-Approval • Independently pre-qualify and pre-approve borrowers with accuracy • Review incoming files and documentation thoroughly • Surface potential issues early and communicate them clearly before Client and Partner Communication • Serve as the primary point of contact for active borrowers throughout the transaction • Communicate with Realtors, title, escrow, and processors professionally and with appropriate urgency • Provide proactive status updates • Set appropriate expectations and execute effectively Qualifications • Active NMLS MLO license - required at time of hire. If currently inactive - please confirm ability to reinstate. • Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo - able to speak to guidelines with confidence • Encompass or comparable LOS; Fannie/Freddie AUS; CRM experience a plus • Demonstrate exceptional self-management • Able to flex when transaction volume and timelines require it • Hybrid opportunity for the right candidate • Preferred LOA/LP2/LO or similar experience in the most recent 24 months.
