Full Job Description
What's the Short Version?

The LMS Administrator manages and supports the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless delivery of training and development programs. This role ensures that learning and training requirements are accurately assigned and documented based on job roles, organizational requirements, and compliance standards through partnerships with department leaders. The LMS Administrator promotes a compliant, efficient, and user-friendly learning environment for all employees and serves as a key liaison between Learning & Development and HRIS.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Assign and manage required training based on organizational requirements, accreditation standards, and compliance needs.
  • Develop and maintain E-Learning modules according to organizational objectives and learning requirements.
  • Maintain audit-ready records of training completion, competency documentation, and historical reports.
  • Develop and maintain role-based training matrices in partnership with HRIS and department leaders.
  • Ensure that education paths reflect changes in organizational standards, new employee roles, and policies.
  • Support subject matter experts in developing and curating content that is accurate and free from errors.
  • Create, manage, and distribute training compliance reports to leadership on a quarterly basis utilizing standardized reporting.
  • Assign learning based on job title, department, role, or scope of responsibility.
  • Ensure that education paths reflect changes in organizational standards, new employee roles, and policies.
  • Support subject matter experts in developing and curating content that is accurate and free from errors.
  • Create, manage, and distribute training compliance reports to leadership on a quarterly basis utilizing standardized reporting.
  • Partner with HRIS to analyze learning data to identify training gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS users, providing troubleshooting assistance and system navigation support.
  • Upload, test, and deploy eLearning modules, instructor-led courses, assessments, and blended learning content.
  • Monitor data integrity and content accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.


What Are We Looking For?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Information Systems, Learning & Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience managing or supporting a Learning Management System (e.g., Litmos, Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Docebo, Saba)
  • Experience creating E-Learning programs using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Lectora Inspire
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail for tasks involving compliance, reporting accuracy, and role-based learning assignments
  • Analytical reasoning for troubleshooting LMS issues, identifying data discrepancies, and performing quality checks
  • Ability to interpret complex policies, accreditation standards, and organizational requirements
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including leadership, learning professionals, and HRIS
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
  • Passion for creating exceptional learner experiences and a curiosity for emerging trends in learning design and technology


What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $80,170 - $95,000 annually, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Periodic travel may be required. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting. The role requires the ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-15 pounds.
