Full Job Description
Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking a Staff Attorney to join our Litigation practice in our Houston office. We are looking to add a team member with 2-6 years of complex commercial litigation experience preferably in construction, energy or professional liability disputes. The attorney will have the opportunity to be actively involved in cases, manage files, prepare dispositive motions, draft briefs, and assist with oral arguments in both state and federal court. The Litigation Staff Attorney position is non-partnership track, salaried, and benefits-eligible.

Litigation Staff Attorney Key Responsibilities:
  • Support all phases of case management including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Provide high quality legal research, writing, and analytical support on complex litigation matters.
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Engage directly with clients and develop a strong understanding of their business objectives on a wide range of disputes.


The Associate position requires in-office presence three days per week. The salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience & geographic location.
