RumbergerKirk is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of civil litigation experience to join our Miami office, with an emphasis on general liability litigation. What you'll do- Handle cases from inception through trial.
- Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and argue motions.
- Interview witnesses, experts, and negotiate with opposing counsel.
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, and trial documents.
What we're looking for- 3-5 years of civil litigation experience.
- Prior experience in general liability, premises liability, casualty, product liability, or complex litigation preferred.
- Proven experience with case management.
- Experience with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent research and writing abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong legal research skills and a strong work ethic.
- Licenses to practice law in the state of Florida.
