About the Opportunity:
Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Albany office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-profile public policy matters with a nationally recognized litigation team.

This role offers direct involvement with clients across industries and frequent engagement with government agencies. The practice focuses on areas such as health care, environmental and energy law, economic development, government procurement, gaming, insurance, and First Amendment law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in a range of complex litigation and public policy disputes
  • Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and responses
  • Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery and document review
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
  • Interact with clients, government agencies, and opposing counsel
  • Collaborate closely with a high-performing litigation team

Required Qualifications:
