Am Law 100 firm seeking a
Litigation Associate to join its
Albany office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-profile public policy matters with a nationally recognized litigation team.
This role offers direct involvement with clients across industries and frequent engagement with government agencies. The practice focuses on areas such as
health care, environmental and energy law, economic development, government procurement, gaming, insurance, and
First Amendment law.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent clients in a range of complex litigation and public policy disputes
- Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and responses
- Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery and document review
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
- Interact with clients, government agencies, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate closely with a high-performing litigation team
Required Qualifications:- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar
- 3-5 years of litigation experience at a law firm or similar setting
- Proficiency in pleadings, motion practice, and discovery procedures
- Experience managing e-discovery workflows and deadlines
- Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client service and team collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits:- Salary range: $150,000 - $180,000 per year
