Full Job Description
Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations (EO) is actively seeking an experienced information technology (IT) professional to support the Space business area classified program areas located in the Huntsville, Alabama, US office. Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: installing, configuring, securing, hardening, remediating, testing, upgrading and decommissioning of Linux Workstations, servers, network switches, virtual servers, physical servers, client workstations and network-attached storage equipment. Application support to program engineers is an essential part of the day-to-day responsibilities that ensures a successful synergy between program deliverables and the underlying IT infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for the ongoing operations, maintenance and continuous improvement of multiple classified IT program environments. This IT professional will ensure that the Space IT systems are managed, controlled and compliant with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF). This is a non-telecommuting position that requires you to be on-site, and includes some off-shift work, on-call rotation, and occasional weekend activities. Priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are currently affiliated with the Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation (EBDT) organization. #EBDT Basic Qualifications • This position requires a Secret Clearance to start, with the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain DOD Top Secret clearance, with the ability to maintain that clearance throughout the position lifecycle (US Citizenship is required for access to the work facility) • This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CASP, CISSP), within 6 months of starting the position • Experience with Linux/UNIX Server and Desktop Operating Systems (i.e. RH 7.x, RH 8.x, etc.) • Experience with Operating Systems life cycle management and configuration management (i.e., Installation/Upgrades, System Imaging, Account Management, Print Services, Domain Services, Hardware Modernization, Performance Monitoring, etc.) • Experience supporting daily incident response (i.e., Helpdesk, etc.) • Experience performing vulnerability remediation and security management (i.e. system hardening, log management, antivirus management, security certificate installs and renewals) • Ability to lift 30 lbs. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $80,600 - $139,840.
