System Administrator
Position Overview

We are seeking a System Administrator to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. This role is responsible for managing IT infrastructure and supporting day-to-day operations across client/server, storage, network, and mobile device environments.

The ideal candidate will provide technical support, perform system monitoring and troubleshooting, assist users with IT services, and help maintain reliable and secure system operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
  • Provide Help Desk and escalation support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
  • Monitor and maintain day-to-day IT system operations
  • Support client/server, storage, network, and mobile device environments
  • Communicate system status and issue resolution updates to management and internal customers
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues through resolution
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems
  • Install and maintain operating system software and related components
  • Configure and maintain network components and system infrastructure
  • Assist users with accessing and utilizing IT systems
  • Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and capacity planning
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs or environments of similar scope and complexity
  • Experience working with Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco operating systems
  • Experience administering Linux, Unix, or Windows operating systems
  • Experience installing and managing software packages, including ISO and Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) packages
  • IAT Level I Certification
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience configuring, troubleshooting, monitoring, and administering messaging services such as:
    • Java Messaging Service (JMS)
    • TIBCO
    • ActiveMQ
    • Artemis
    • Kafka
  • Experience supporting applications within SIGINT environments
  • Certifications or experience related to Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco operating systems
Preferred Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer support abilities
  • Experience working in enterprise or mission-critical environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment
